We went from $50-$100 for flowers and chocolate (starting point), to $250-$thousands on valentines. So the next day the chick can go back to treating you like crap? I like the Family Guy episode tells it best. Jewelry commercial of the silhouetted couple comes up. He shines the jewelry, and the silhouette of her head starting to go down and the caption "Because she will pretty much have to" pops up...
